One Year Later, After George Floyd's Death
The 26th of May marked the first anniversary of George Floyd Death, the Minnesota man whose death sparked a nationwide movement for racial justice for policing from a viral video posted on social media.
On that day, The Floyd family and legal team met with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris in a private Oval Office meeting. They discussed calling on congress to pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act during the session.
